Review by hotel critic
During my recent city trip to Toronto, I had the pleasure of staying at Tru By Hilton Toronto Airport West, a delightful retreat just a stone's throw from Pearson Airport. The complimentary shuttle service was a remarkable convenience, whisking my husband and me away upon arrival, while the serene, soundproof rooms provided a surprisingly peaceful escape from the airport buzz. The hotel exudes a charming and playful atmosphere, complemented by a warm welcome from the attentive staff, who were more than happy to pack a breakfast for our early departure. With spacious accommodations featuring comfortable beds and modern amenities, it felt unexpectedly luxurious for a budget-friendly option. I was particularly enamoured with their complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby, which added a pleasant touch to our mornings. As a retired chef and a food critic, I appreciate how even the minor details—like the delightful hand soap and body lotion—can enhance a guest's experience, leaving a lasting impression. Should I find myself back in Toronto, Tru By Hilton will undeniably be my first choice.
